Fields' Corners: Living with Ease
The name, Fields' Corners came from the Hebrew word, kanaph, which means "wing", "extremity", "edge", "border", "corner", or "skirt". The word is often used to symbolize provision, protection and covering. For example, the word, kanaph, is used in the Biblical story of Ruth, whereby she was allowed to glean the provisions from the corners of the fields for her sustenance. The hope for the Fields’ Corners group is that participants will understand that there are God-designed provisions at every turn that can be gleaned for a life of ease.
Our intention is to empower group participants to access their God-given ability to be at ease in body, mind and spirit. The following core values of the group are based on Biblical principles:
1. Belief that God gave each of us the potential for ease vs. dis-ease in our bodies (physical, emotional, spiritual)
2. Belief that each person has autonomy over and responsibility for their own body and choices
3. Belief that love is more powerful than fear
4. Belief that being in authentic relationship with others is a key to transformation

The group meets monthly to discuss participants' physical, spiritual or emotional needs and address them through fellowship, prayer, education of holistic health modalities, and recommendations of resources. The group may arrange to have local holistic health practitioners attend and provide education on a specific modality (i.e. acupuncture, chiropractic, sound therapy, biomeridian assessment, etc.), or take field trips to local wellness conferences or centers.
